After listening to Duhamel owning De Faye this morning on talkback I had to ask myself a critical question. Did I even give De Faye a chance? the answer was no. How many others are at the same stage as me? That is if one of our ministers say it is Black, I automatically assume it must be white. I can only blame our council of ministers for my chain of thought, they have allegedly misled, tricked and duped us for so long over so many issues I litterally can not believe a word that is coming out of their mouths any more. All this has now come back to bight them in the a-s, they probably have got some good ideas, issues or propositions that might bring about good for the Jersey people. The trouble is nobody believes them any more, or that is I don't believe them DO YOU? ?

I didn't hear much of it, just Guy shouting down (or trying to) Duhamel to the point where his mic was cut, LOL
Later I noticed he said the the council of ministers DON'T act alone, but were bound by policies set by the entire assembly.
I suddenly noticed a very bad smell in the car at that point...... BS!
What about the ministers who actually ADMITTED the "too much power for one man" syndrome?!!!

Thought about starting a new thread but thought this would fit on here o.k.
Has anybody heard anything about the campaign by Chris Lakeman against Central European Time? It all seems to have gone a bit quiet. This is another one of those things I can't believe what they say.
I went to the talk he gave at the Art Centre. He wants to spend time, money and effort on something that is nothing but a smoke-screen (which he could be part of). Surely his time would be better spent campaining to make this a "ligitimate referrendum". He wants us to believe he is going to tirelessly campaign on something the States have already declared, they are going to make the decision on regardless of the outcome of the "referrendum".
There is an agenda here and I'm not sure it is what Lakeman would have us believe it is.

I agree Lakeman is establishment. He is a legal eagle after all. The whole CET thing is to distract from the great and worthy (NOT!) GST Party who will try to reclaim their seats.

does anyone know why de Faye left Channel TV in the 1980's? His Wiki entry simply says he worked there but nothing about why he moved on.
