The L.A. Times is reporting that Michael Jackson has been pronounced dead after a cardiac arrest in Los Angeles Thursday afternoon.
The paper says they are told by city and law enforcement sources that the King of Pop was pronounced dead by doctors after arriving at the hospital in a deep coma.
The Associated Press also says that "a person with knowledge of the situation says Michael Jackson has died."
Mike von Fremd with ABC News was at UCLA Medical Center Thursday. He says that family members tell him Jackson collapsed Thursday afternoon in his home.
Jackson, 50, was a twice-divorced father of three.
