Todays news said that Mike Pollard head civil servant in charge of health has put in for payment on missed guitar lessons owing to HDLG investigations. How blatant and arrogant can one be when considering the high salary and the unsensitive can one get considering the situation and the history that is in the public demain of his implied involvement of the child abuse investigations.

Just watched BBC question time ,in which the Mp expenses debacle came under attack .Trust has been broken,and no amount of apologies and paying back monies will restore confidence with the General public.
If they have no integrity over the expenses business,why would they deal with the public's money any differently
As for a certain States executive and his claim for cancelled music classes,are you sure it was not the fiddle he was learning to play ?

It was announced in the States this morning ,that Pollard has decided to pay back his guitar lesson expenses.Also as a goodwill gesture he has pledged the same amount out of his own pocket to support a local charity .
