Yes and the offenders are those that were seriously challenged at the hustings such as Alan Maclean etc. It was obvious to anyone who attended several hustings that he changed his stance in accordance with whatever was going down well with the audience!

Seem to recall another politican at the hustings,who suddenly brought up the subject of sustainability and the provision of more allotments. None of this was mentioned in his earlier speeches,or in his manifesto He jumped on the bandwagon and realised it could be the vote catcher he needed when he saw that the green politicians had a good following. Members of the public saw his game plan and he was voted out at the Senatorials.

Ian Le Marquand's voting record is also one to watch - I said at the outset that he was going to be an 100% establishment man and apart from voting for the GST exemptions I've been right. There are quite a few disappointed people out there that voted for him.
