What do you think about a Bank of Jersey?
This was a question I originally posed on Planet Jersey under the pseudonym of 'Soi Disant' back in October.
I'm pleased that Kevin Keen has, around the same time, come to the same idea in protecting Islander's deposits.
The 'Bank' per se would not be in direct competition with the commercial High Street variety.
Your thoughts?

If it protects its savers deposits bring it on it has got to be better than what we have at the moment which is zero protection in law.

Yes please a "Bank of Jersey". A bank that does not take risks, as someone has already stated Jersey Trustees Bank bring it back.
