I have had to put a further complaint into the ppc due to Senator Terry Le Main's behaviour. His latest email shows the contempt that Senator Terry Le Main has for the general public and the ppc.
I do not for a moment believe that the majority of those Senator Terry Le Main has sent this email to would be interested in Senator Terry Le Mains childishness, and I have no doubt that many of them would now like to distance themselves from him.
Below are self explanatory emails. (Including my latest official complaint to the ppc.)
----- Forwarded Message ---- From: Linda Corby <linda_corby@yahoo.co.uk> To: news@jerseyeveningpost.com; radiojersey@bbc.co.uk; news@channel103.com; broadcast@channelonline.tv Sent: Saturday, 6 December, 2008 17:23:59 Subject: Fw: From Linda Corby (ref Official complaint two reference Minister Terry Le Main)

Dear Dear Connétable Gray and Chief Minister Senator Walker,
Please accept this as an official complaint reference yet another email sent out by Senator Terry Le Main.
Straight off Terry Le Main has stuck two fingers up at the PPC metaphorically speaking of course. Time they had some teeth, and obviously used those teeth for the likes of Terry Le Main as he obviously considers his reprimand as not worth the paper it was written on. He has broken the same rules as last time.
Below is a copy of Senator Terry Le Mains latest offending email, which he has sent to a select number of States members, States Department Officials and unbelievable to Mario Lundy someone I would have thought any self respecting person would want to distance themselves from at this moment in time for obvious reasons. Note that Senator Le Main has included a copy of his original offending email duplicating his original offense to even more people in the media etc.
Copy of offending email:

Dear Colleagues
This is the so called email which was not sent to the two " very well known Bloggers on the Senator Syvret Blog site who have complained " and its pitiful that the PPC committee should mislead the public by saying that I had used "offensive language " please judge for yourselves and I do not retract anything that I put in my email… its fair and honest comment...

______________________________________________ From: Terry Le Main Sent: 14 October 2008 10:55 To: Philip Ozouf; Paul Routier; Alan J. Maclean Cc: Frank Walker; Terry Le Sueur Subject: Last night
Good morning Friends and Colleagues
As we well knew, a part of the audience last evening were solely there to jeer and mock existing Ministers etc….this was set up by supporters of the JDA, Mrs Macon who detests current Ministers etc… ( using her son as the dummy to do her dirty work ) and of course Le Cornu / Tadier etc…there were people in the audience like that Corby woman who are there to destruct etc etc….I recognised several people who are just quite mad…McMurray and his wife and ilk etc…remember that the majority of the people last nite were related or supporters of candidates…the good sensible electors ie those we rely on were not there…there were good people around me last nite who will be supporting you good people, t they trust you..… and these people were surprised and quite upset at the agression of some of the candidates etc…
On last nites performance everyone around me thought the three of you held your own well and came out with statesmanship and dignity etc….well done chaps…even people like Breckon were aggressive and rude by calling people by their surnames… bloody rude…in all it was expected that some of these candidates just fell on their "swords " brought on by aggression and threatening behaviour..they will end up bottom of the pile…
The one disappointment we all have is Mike Vibert…is he well because his public performances have been very poor and the twice I have seen him his deliverances of his policies etc have been very poor and non existent…I am very worried for him…
Anyway the three of you did well…congratulations and best of luck for tomorrow.. Yours Sincerely Senator Terry Le Main Housing Minister Housing Department Outwood La Rue de Maupertius St Clement JE2 6NG Tel: +44 (0) 1534 720040 E.mail: terrylemain@localdial.com E.mail: t.lemain@gov.je
End of copy of offending email:
Please Note that a copy of this complaint will be sent to all States members, and the media.
Thank you all for your assistance in this matter.
Yours sincerely, Linda Corby

Linda, well done, that must be one of the most unprofessional emails I have ever read. Given this came from an elected housing minister who stated, "I recognised people who are quite mad" - one could suggest he look no further for madness than himself. Don;t these people have any education, training, how do they get to such high places he lacks no only common sense but also common decency. If this had happened in the UK the press would have torn him to shreds by now, I realise you do not have a free press. This so called minister is once again letting his electorate down, I am more than sure that the decent people of Jersey will be appauled.
I also note his remarks relating to Mike Verbet, perhaps the author of the email ought to give consideration to his mental state before worrying about the rejected.

Hey thanks for the compliment, no not educated just attended the university of life. I don;t live on Jersey as you will guess, however I have been watching the events of Jersey unfold, It it was not so serious it would be a second rate farce, good job I don;t live on your beautiful Island, I would of been arrested by now I think. The constant undermining of the abused by an elected government who put their own need for greed before the electrate, baboons who write emails, the content of which is childlike, (we are better than they etc, etc.,) is a perfect reflection of why the world is Laughing at the Ministers of Jersey, not the people of Jersey who are surpressed and too afraid to speak out.
People like you, Stuart, Simon etc., have gained more respect than the whole of the States Ministers put together, you speak from your hearts, you care and lets face it it is a good job someone does because your Government most certainly does not. That email is appauling if you disect it he portrays exactly what he is a bullying, an incompetent fool, he really does need to be held accountable. One wonders at times what some of these ministers are really covering up. ..................... a lot more needs to come out.

I have no doubt a lot more will eventually come out. As you say too many are frightened to speak out, not me, I refuse to be bullied. If he is ever made accountable of course depends on what the other States Members decide to do which will probably be zilch. It wouldn't surprise me if they did re-elect him as Housing Minister again , a man with the intellect level of a goldfish in an ocean of sharks.

A disgraceful display and abuse of the e-mailing system. How on earth is this man trusted with the ministry of housing, or any ministry for that matter? Keep it up Linda I am right behind you.

Sadly most small town politicians have the same problems they are so full of their own self importance - they are self gratifying - sadly there will be a little clique around him who probably think he is the best thing since sliced bread, you know keeping those poor commoners down - Jersey reminds me of how things were in Victorian Britain, you know those Mill Owners, not only did they own the Mill they felt they owned the people, woe betide anyone who spoke out. Keep the peasants supressed and they will not speak out. How times are changing, the Mill Owners are begining to lose grip, hence the stupidty that is taking place, investigations etc., etc., money which could be far better used in the rental housing market to give decent people a decent quality of life. From what I have read, Hansard etc., etc., the real people of Jersey have suffered generations of neglect. Sub-standard damp housing. Instead of investigating Police officers et al, they should be arresting those who traumatised children, abused children. They should be investigating their civil servants, you know the ones I mean, paid handsome salaries, have immunity. Oops I could go on and on, alas I have to go checkin online for a flight tomorrow, so I won't.
Sorry I do get on the soap box a bit.

It''ll be interesting to see if ppc will do any thing about this. Le Main has got away with so much over the years it makes me sick.
He likes to think of himself as the big I am and constantly bullies people, when in fact he is a nothing who's mummy has bailed out a few times.

lol, no never lived in Jersey - never been to Jersey. In fact as a child the only people I ever knew visited Jersey were the wealthy = fortunately we were not wealthy. My knowledge comes only from what I have read on the numerous sites, Handsard, Minutes.etc,
I worked with EBD kids for many years and prior to that was a detached Youth and Community worker with difficult kids. I have worked with many children who have been abused and all too often they experienced what the abused of Jersey are experiencing hence my interest. I am also a political aholic, used to be quite active, possibly comes from my socialist roots. What really pi....s me off is the wealthy undermining the poor - I can mix with any so called class of people. People like your housing minister are the dregs of the earth, how do they manage to get themselves in such positions, they are so far removed from caring about anyone but themselves. Sadly as in life honesty, like SS, especially in politics is frowned upon. You know Linda, in the real world a lot of your politicians would not get elected to run a pee up in a brewery. You live in such a small island, your politicians are small minded, the majority of them have no idea about poverty, they were born with silver spoons in their mouths and were taught from an early age the poor are beneath us they deserve nothing. There common interest is What is in it for them, to be elected opens many doors, if you get my pun, there own need for greed is self gratifying. I am sure there are some who do the job they were elected to do, but with problems, they are regularly rediculed from what I have read. Until a more balanced government is elected Jersey will continue in the same way, only one day it will self destruct. They cannot go on forever putting all their eggs in one basket. Reading Hansard it is very eye opening, perhaps not a lot of people really grasp what goes on. The Bully boys get their own way all the time. The majority of the Deputies seem to be fence sitters waiting for the carrots to be dangled and then run with the hounds, sniffing out anyone who could be a hare.
Jersey needs more women to stand up and be counted, they also need the ordinary person to stand up and be counted. The majority of the States members seem to be the product of Victoria College, supposedly educated but lack the vital ingredient of common sense. They all seem to be in each others pockets.
People need to be out in the field working on those housing estates which have problems, if the Jersey government had any sense whatsoever they would be investing in those people, they should be investing in those kids. It has been proven that if you improve living conditions, improve environments etc., it gives a community back a little of its self esteem. Just because a child has been brought up in a bad environment does not mean that child will never do anything with their life. This is what this man should be working on, but he has not got the will, the interest, the care etc., etc., so nothing will be done.
Gosh I am a shocking soap box addict, however sometime you should read some of the books written by the late A.S. Neil. I had great respect for that man, even though I did not agree with all he wrote, but he had interesting theories, whatever you do do it well, if you want to break windows, make sure you break them well, anyone can chuck a brick at a window, but can you hit it in the middle. His philosphy was to encourage children to live in a community which was self discipling, if a child was being bullied this would be discussed and the children worked out the punishment. Anyway now I am really going off subject. sorry.

Your right Mac, but the real question is just what can PPC actually do? ( As far as I can see from past complaints to the PPC the answer is ZILCH.)

If they don't have any power, what's the point in having them I'm going to have to go and have a read on the gov.je website. I think of all States Members Le Main has broken the rules the most and is all ways allowed to get away with it.

Anyway now I am really going off subject. sorry. Oh yes you are one very intelligent Lady. I have read some Handsard and will look up the books you mentioned. I did actually stand for election in Jersey in 1999. You are correct that the States of Jersey are more interested in playing down the child abuse cases to protect the finance industry, what has been going on here is an absolute disgrace. They are constantly trying to shut people up, Senator Stuart Syvret has even received threatening email from the Police, and you can read a bit about this on my blog if you want to lcorby.wordpress.com A lot will depend on who is picked for our New Chief Minister, he/she is picked by the States Members and not by the public who really should have the right to chose who is the Chief Minister, then of course it also depends on who the chosen Chief Minister picks to be the Department Ministers, but the hope of change seems very remote. Minister Terry Le Main is the present Minister for Housing, a typical ex car salesman, do I need to say more!
