Firms, office blocks, all to see
Wonderful finance industry
Our taxation charts are
Raised revenue for Jersey.

The beauty of our brand
Long inspires those who are blind
Tax exiles the privilege of an open door
So by the nod that Jersey
Might by funds endure.

It's awful. How did all the other national anthems come about? Did they get chosen by The People by becoming popular, or were they chosen by panels of 'experts' and that was that?
It would be interesting to find out, if there are any music historians out there
