Just a few lines to announce the departure from our Forum and other local forums of our much valued contributor and moderator No6.
He has grown tired of the Jersey blogging scene for many reasons.
Personally I wish him the very best ,and thank him for his support and valuable input.
Will miss his sense of humour and his sharp attention to detail.

I am sorry he has departed. I enjoyed his comments. I do hope he returns at some stage in the future. I wish him all the best for the future.

Hello all you jersey mids hope you are all well , nice to find this web site , I have fond memories of my short stays in Jersey 3 stays in all 2 stays on holiday vocations at Mrs (katanches?) and her French Husbands guest house in St Lawrence and 1 stay working their with my friend Alan Drew that time we lodged in Aquila Road St Helier , we worked for a firm If I can remember rightly was a building company called something like Farley , we were employed on a contract to build the new ATV receiving mast / station at st Trinity which was back in the early sixties , I worked their for about 6 weeks after this I returned back to m y home town of Birmingham UK Alan stayed in Jersey as he had acquainted with a Jersey Girl I Have not seen or heard from him since the day I left Jersey perhaps he Married the Jersey girl and became a jersey mid I just don's know . I had many a happy hour when in Jersey on holiday and when working their visiting places like the Tartan Bar / St Quen's bay St Brelades bay etc Some times travelling by the crazy night out coach trips or on my Triumph Thunderbird Motorbike other places I frequented were the Bird Cage and most of all my favourite pub ran by Ned in commercial st st Helier I think it was actually called the commercial but can't be sure , Must go their again before I am to old .
