This meant that Deputy Reed got back in unopposed... It's not just my fault you know. There are at least 2 other St Ouen residents who are contesting deputy seats, but not in St Ouen. There is also a recent St Ouen CO in another contest. I am reminded of Tony Benn who commented he was leaving parliament to concentrate on politics.

Hi Mark, Who are the two St Ouen residents? Cliff le Clercq and Andrew Green. In Mr Green's case it is I suppose possible there is more than one Andrew Green in the island interested in politics, but there is definitely one in St Ouen. There is of course only one Cliff le Clercq!

I am very suprised that Cliff did not try St Ouen. I am very surprised Cliff is trying St Saviour 2. Is there any tenable link or did he just draw a slip of paper saying "St Saviour 2" out of a hat ?
