What do you reckon it will be? A high one, the protest vote? Low? Voter apathy, complacency, despair? It has to be remembered that regardless of who gets elected this year, there will still be the other 6 Senators in there for 3 more years, 11 constables you can't vote for/against (possibly 12!), and nearly all of 29 deputies you can't vote for/against either. Would it be surprising if people felt powerless and that voting for 6 candidates is a waste of time? A look at en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jersey_elections,_2005 is interesting - these are the Other Six Senators that will still be there for 3 more years...... Stuart Syvret - 15,131 Ben Shenton - 14,025 Freddie Cohen - 13,704 Terry Le Main - 12,159 Terry Le Sueur - 9,976 James Perchard - 8,998 and out of interest, look how the these runners up fared - these people got back in as deputies intead...... Paul Le Claire (Centre Party) 5,413 Kevin Lewis (Centre Party) 5028 Guy de Faye (Independent) 4,994 Geoff Southern (Jersey Democratic Alliance) 4,724

I've been trying to work that out myself The only way I can see is to look at the candidates that have a chance of getting in and use any spare vote you have for them. If I'm honest I'm struggling to choose 6 who I can honestly say I support.
