Crime is merely politics without the excuses
Honesty in politics is much like oxygen. The higher up you go, the scarcer it becomes.
Politicians are much like ships: noisiest when lost in a fog.
The trouble with political jokes is they get elected
Make your statesman work - don't re-elect him.
A politician is a man who stands for what he thinks the voters will fall for
The government is sneaky. They raise the tax on alcohol, then make sure that Jersey is in such a mess, that you drink more.
Don't vote - it only encourages them.
The reason they bury politicians 26 feet under is because deep down they're nice guys.
