"The UK government has the responsibility for the good administration of justice in the Crown dependencies, such as Jersey."
I think we can all see that our system clearly does not work. And SSS is so fed up of it he is taking the UK Government to the High Courts in London if Jack Straw does not take action to review our current system. Will a motion to sue the UK change anything?

The publicity if nothing else will highlight the problems we are facing in Jersey. The Establishment as we know hate UK interference and outside media reporting. If it is the only way to make some serious changes over here,so be it .

It could be a fundamental changing point in our history if the UK authorities step in to sort things out and they do have the power to do so. If our own administration does nothing and is happy to see the current system as it is, then yes the UK should intervene. I doubt they would stop there though and it could be a move that we live to regret.
Again, fair play to Stuart. I wish I had his tenacity. But I doubt any serious changes are likely to happen because of it. I hope I'm wrong.

Sorry I made a boo-boo. I thought the poll was 'Will suing the UK change anything' - that's why I clicked no. Like teacher always said, I really should have read the question. Anyway, good on Stuart for trying!

I think he is on a hiding to nothing in London (I too hope I'm wrong). It is almost enevitable this is going to end up in Europe.
One thing's for sure, if anybody can win this case, it's SS just hope he's getting some support from Lenny Harper.
