In today's Rag, Meridian moans about a driver parking where he shouldn't, throwing a fag end on the ground, and driving off while using his mobile.
What's the point just whingeing about it? That's 3 offences the prat should be fined for.
Strikes me there are only 3 sensible answers - either :
a) have the cojones to go to the police and complain (and be prepared to testify in court)
b) lobby for far more police to be around (and be prepared to pay far more in tax)
c) ignore it and stop whingeing.
I suppose the only point of whingeing is to air the issue, make people think about, see if peer-pressure can be socially engineered to make certain practices unacceptable....... but really, can you see it working with someone so far from caring about his actions?
